What does freedom mean to you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 18, 2009:
Not the same thing as liberty, that's for sure...freedom is the experience of the insubstantial self moving within insubstantial goop and knowing it and living it out as faux-condensate.....

yep. liberty is when government or other lawmakers (in our society, that means the dominant group) grants you permission to do something. freedom is when you decide for yourself. x
I like this … freedom is a choice even in the midst of liberty being abused and walls put up. Freedom can even be found behind those walls.
Right on Sisters and brothers… it is knowing what is right for you in the midst of the bond of society to create normalicy in the chaotic mess that it has created itself…
Freedom to be free in the prison of our minds, while in the prison of follow the leader, follow the belief another…
The gay community is finding this out at they struggle for the Right to marry, yet it is a right to equal right not just who one weds…
Stacey….maybe but freedom is not doing as you please….
John and Jeff….yep, you are the fourth wall in any square room….and so the room is within you and not vice-versa and that is freedom….(I got that one from Douggie Harding)….
