This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 21, 2008:
Well I was pretty pissed off when the "H" fell off the front but then when the "T" fell off the back I was left with an ear and then I learned to listen properly to others including the still small voice of myself....

Fanclub, Tara ? h-m-m-m, maybe we could make a “sugar icon” of that ear, eh gals ? After all, ain't that many blokes around who have chosen to dis-cover their ears instead of just burying their hearts…
You may be right Victoria, & yes, then a sugar icon ear would be well deserved.
In terms of a fanclub, I was thinking more along the lines of what lies between..

Well hey here's an all-gal comment conversation thang and it's all about me me me….and here's Sherri referring to me as humble and having to get my EGO going……wha??????????…like that's about as hard as blinking in a water fight….
The heart of heart is ear and that means listening, attuning, resonating…when one really, truely experiences being heard…then fear melts…and fear is the first-person, phenomenological perspective on what a third-person structural perspective dubs the good ole Defense Mechanisms….so it's these which observers perceive as melting in me as I experience fear melting in myself….this in the presence of one who is really listening….and now on the other side of fear lie the demons, the buried detritus of shadow, the shameful, projected, chunks of undigested shit which cramp our solar plexii into a singularity which gravitationally draws in our energy across all the lower levels and blanches us into a morass of confused, frightened, weeping vermicelli in the molten dish of our souls…..and when we let loose the bats and fessup our sins….deciding, of course, that Jesus did not let us off the hook even as the zounds pierced his palms….when we do this and others lend us our ears….we may experience restitution since being unheard, unattuned, bullied, traumatised into a walking mass of hard scar tissue, humiliated like a too-rapidly burning candle…these things built the wall of fear/defense mechanism in the first place…being heard unbricks the walls and feeds sunlight to our inner vampiric shameshapers…. melts us into one whole being…resonating like a tuning fork to a listener who her/hisself needs to be whole and unobstructed…degrees of this…..so that the stale suet falls from our pericardia as our very hearts crack open….the very last tear always tastes of joy…the heart chakra unfibrillant…anhata…sanskrit for “unstruck”…one hand clapping….not two…one taste….unbarriered unity…when…and only when…we do the work of learning to listen…
I am a tantrika and a yogi and a psychotherapist and I see no fundamental incongruence or, indeed distinction between these three facilitative roles.
I hear you like what you see of and in me and I am grateful folks and I return this to each of you who wrote above…..

Yes Jon, so true… “when one really, truly experiences being heard… then fear melts…”, so beautifully put. So true. Truly listening to someone, and truly being heard… very powerful… unconditional love.
