What little things make you happy?

I agree with the experience of Metanoia and the meditation practise.
I remember the feeling looking at a telephone cabin like an amazing thing after my first course, and eating a little piece af bread like it was the more exquisite food on earth (we have not had diet, I was not hungry I mean).If you thought meditators are kinda masoquist because the technique has its difficulties,like sitting for a long time……..well, forget the idea, we are looking for something good like you, but realized some time ago, after trying it, that the usual ways just don't work.

I have just heard for first the word penisses, it's funny because in catalan we call it penis……………so, your is longer……………congratulations brits………………..ROFLMAO!

I agree pennis help, but what makes you happy is your thing……(what is the name, twad?), is the only must for your pleasure, the rest are all complements.

Please do not ever stop talking about penises!  Or vaginas, for that matter.  Especially G-spots.  More openness around sexuallity and intimacy would change the world!  Consider a world with no sexual exploitation and fewer neuroses because we move sexuality out of the dark corners of the psyche and into the light. 

I thoroughly enjoy a good and loving romp with my sweet lover's penis.  I can't say that it makes me happy – I am generally happy when I'm in the presence of him, and hs penis is an added bonus.  Still, the endorphins afterward certainly enhance my mood.  I would love to learn tantra to move the experience to a different level, but he's not quite on the same page on that one.  All in good time, I'm sure.

Other things bring happiness to the fore, of course.  Spontaneous metanoia is one of my favorites.  I just love that place wherein the world just seems to shift in front of my eyes, and I have the sense of absolute astonishment at the beauty and the feeling of well-being that washes over me – without penis intervention. 

Thanks so much for your post – what fun!  And I learned a new word for that unique experience (the metanoia, not the penis pleasure).

Well – I have more experience with penises than I do with yoga.  I find it's best to offer commentary on areas with which one is familiar.  Lest I look like a fool.  A sexually satisfied but yoga deficient fool, at that!

Penis Metanoia – would that beverage include chocolate, cinnamon and honey?

LOL!  Julia – I'm not sure about whether it depends on the penis or whether it depends on the guy it's attached to.  Motion of the ocean and all that.  I've been favored by all sizes, and I'm not sure size really matters all that much.  I've been in close connection with some fairly impressive penises that left me wondering what the fuss was all about.  While a dear friend who is significantly smaller in stature made up for it in various other ways.  ;-) It's really about the heart-soul connection more than anything.  For me, without that, there's not a chance that I will grace the penis, no matter what it's size.  But a good, fun romp is not to be sneezed at.

That said, the penis isn't worth much without a great vagina as a companion (speaking as a straight person – I recognize that others have different proclivities, but I lack experience in those realms).  We make our own experiences, and we generally get as good as we give!

Check out the Human Awareness Institute at http://www.hai.org/.  I've been to several workshops.   Changed my life.  I was nearly 50 years old before I could even utter the word penis.  I guess I'm making up for lost time.  David Deida writes that sexual energy is life energy.  If we're locked down sexually, we're locked down in other areas of our lives.  I think if more of us talked about it, there would be far less shame, guilt and voo doo around it. 

There has been research that indicates that the body does go into a sort of deathlike convulsion during orgasm.  The death that creates life!  How appropriate.  My sweetie has been involved in Reichian therapy for over a year now and says the benefits have been amazing. 

BTW – what is ROLFMAO?  I'm kind of geeky with the whole online gabfest thingie.

fresh mango… that is a love encoded in me from way back. I spent the first three years of my life in Trinidad, two out of the three living with my granny while my mother started to make a life for us in Canada.
